"Feel the fear and do it anyways." ~Jennifer Blanchard
I ran across Jennifer Blanchard's guest post today on How To Stop Procrastinating and Start Your Blog. Jennifer was motivated to write her post after taking in results from a previous poll on Darren Rowse's blog asking readers how long they've been blogging. (Mind you, Darren's blog is a blog about blogging.) Jennifer noted that over 4,000 of Darren's readers didn't actually have a blog at the time they responded to the poll. It prompted a question about why so many folks who don't blog would even be reading a blog about blogging in the first place?
Her conclusion about procrastination being a source, thoughts about why folks procrastinate, as well as her suggested remedies are all worth a read. (Here.)
And, while I'm at it, some of you might also be interested In another blog post by Anthony Balderama who wrote previously about Why Blogging is Good For Your Career.
I found both articles above timely because they relate to conversations I've had recently with a few friends who have expressed interest in starting a blog. I'm looking forward to their first posts.
How about you? Do you blog? How long now?
