My routine in the morning... pad around aimlessly, coffee, pad around some more, settle in for the news (via a newsreader on my laptop). While my news reader's syncing, I fire up Tweetdeck to see what the general banter is about. (I also like to have it up in case I read something interesting while scanning/reading news that might be worth sharing with tweeps.)
Anyway, by the time my news reader had completed its sync, and I was about halfway down my first cup-o-coffee, I noticed Tweetdeck still hadn't connected. Checking further on Twitter's status page, I discovered the issue.
Now I have visions of 20 million people around the world getting the shsks... er, shshshks... uh, shksss.... the SHAKES!!
>>UPDATE: I was finally able to post my first tweet at 8:02. Twitter's back up but it sounds like they're still defending against the DOS attack. Today will likely be a busy day for Twitter. <<
