So I'm daily bombarded with "Web 2.0," "Learning 2.0" and "e-Commerce 2.0." If "2.0" is about user-contributed content related to whatever thing precedes the "2" and the "oh," then would the ad below for Dylan's October release be a form of "Advertising 2.0?"
Users can customize some of the content in the ad, then forward it along to others. The user pitches their message but also passes along the original ad in a way that incorporates "prepackaged" visuals, music, emotion (through the visuals and music). They also provide embed codes to place it in a weblog or website.
Slick. Visual, entertaining, emotive, viral.
