As of November 2006, there were over half-a-million (519,299) real estate agents in California. That's up 25% from just a couple of years prior. And despite the slowing market and higher home inventories, that population still represents about a 10% increase from the year prior. That all makes for a lot of competition. The savviest seem to be rolling with the punches and finding ways to change with the times. Here's a recent spot from CNBC (posted to YouTube) that validates the interest I've seen from those in real estate to find new ways of differentiating their services and their clients' properties.
